My doggo is the same, anything beyond his regular diet of boiled chicken, high end kibble, and cottage cheese and he gets the runs. It can take days to recover from a piece of discarded pizza or some milk bones slipped to him at the dog park.

My Grandma is 94 and totally out of it, our family and some visiting nurses all take shifts so theres always someone in the house to help them out. Anyways I take my dog with me whenever I go and she just trie s to feed her anything the whole time were there. Pills, butter, literally anything in front of her she’ll try and feed the dog. And you have to explain multiple times since she has Alzheimer and forgets almost immediately when you tell her dogs don’t need butter.

Sorry about your grandmother. I took our dog to visit my grandmother when she started to have symptoms of de ment ia at about the same age. She loved the dog and giving it pets and getting dog snuggles.

No worries, she’s had it for a long time now. Some days are better than others
